Key breakthrough: Let the ideal into reality

The principle of Luneburg lens is a concept put forward by German physicist R.K.Leuneburg in 1944 based on geometric optics, and an ideal electromagnetic lens is obtained by mathematical model. Electromagnetic waves passing through the lens are refracted to form plane waves; The plane wave has low energy loss in the transmission process, which is more conducive to high-frequency propagation.

It can be said that Luneburg lens antenna has the advantages of high gain, low power consumption and low power consumption, which can effectively reduce the operation and maintenance costs of operators. However, the dielectric constant of natural materials cannot reach between 2 and 1, which cannot meet the design requirements of Luneburg lens. In particular, in the deployment of 700M 5G network, Luneburg lens antenna can transmit two 700MHz beams in the 120-degree sector through spectrum reuse technology, which can solve the problem of 700MHz band width while giving full play to the advantages of good penetration and long coverage distance of 700MHz band.
