Recently, Xidian University and Foshan EAHISON Communication Co., Ltd. jointly built a space antenna joint laboratory to jointly promote the company's flagship product - Luneburg Lens technology.

Xidian University and Foshan EAHISON Communication Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to build a joint space antenna laboratory, and will carry out technology research and development and scientific and technological achievements transformation work around Luneburg Lens, and further expand the use of the product.

EAHISON has been specializing in the development and production of communication antennas for many years. Since 2015, EAHISON has set up a specialized team and a post-doctoral innovation practice base to focus on the development of Luneburg Lens, and now the antenna has achieved large-scale production. The product has the advantages of plane wave, multi-focus, wide frequency, high efficiency, low reflection, low sidelobe and so on. It can effectively improve the coverage distance, and can be widely used in 5G communication and other fields, involving high-speed rail, high-speed, campus, community, sea area, tunnel and other application scenarios.

"At present, the Luneburg Lens we developed is mainly used in the 'ground' scene. We hope to promote the product from the 'ground' to the 'sky' through joint research and development, expand to satellite communications and other fields, and build strong technical barriers to products." Relying on XIdian University's advantages in science and technology and talents, combined with EAHISON's resources and market advantages, the two sides will jointly explore the R & D operation mechanism, and steadily promote the research of technology and the transformation of scientific research results. The joint laboratory will be built into a base for technology research and development and personnel training, and the joint laboratory will be built into a model of school-enterprise cooperation to achieve high-quality development of universities and enterprises.
